Hi all.
Not sure if this is just an issue for me or what but in the last few days I've found that my game will no longer launch. It will display the splash screen with the Sea of Thieves logo for anywhere from 10-30 seconds and then just close without a warning of any sort. This game was also working little over a week ago and nothing has changed so I have no idea why there would be an issue. I've seen that many people have had similar issues in the past and I feel like I've exhausted pretty much all of their fixes. What I've tried so far is:
- Resetting the app
- Reinstalling the app
- Checking for Windows/game/display driver updates
- Manually enabling Windows PushToInstall in Services.msc
- Using commands such as: Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
- Using WSReset.exe
- Doing a clean restart
- Reinstalling Windows with applications and user files intact
- Reinstalling Windows with only user files intact
I'm not really sure what there is left to do short of a clean reinstall of Windows and I have my doubts that would do anything. Anybody else/devs have any suggestions here?
