    Its not that double gunning was the issue and as I was corrected in another thread it was double shots in the quick swap. I will still use two guns when needing to defend the ship at range since well the best way to defend a ship is to stop them from boarding or attempting to keg in the first place lol.

    EOR/Blunderbuss and Sword will be the new old meta for boarding btw.

    Correct! That is what we mean mate. It was how they used the method they were rolling with. It grew beyond a meta, but after tomorrow it will not mattter.

    The sad part is that all those people that used that double shot meta.. they could never actually know how to do ship to ship battles and I sunk them so many times.

    The only times they ever boarded me or killed me was when I was either low on supplies after the 6th-7th time I sunk them or was like the last person left on my ship whilst waiting for others to join on me and they just randomly rolled up at the time lol.

    @needsmokes my fav version of black beard is from PoTC played by Ian McShane, but the one played by Ray Stevenson was pretty damn good as well.

    Joe specifically stated in the dev vid about it to reinstall your game client when this update is live for the smaller footprint install.

    It was confirmed in the stream today that the game will overwrite itself without you having to manually uninstall.

    So no need to do anything other than to update tomorrow :)

    Just put up the PSA on the sub for this for those that visit there so they are aware as well.

    remember everyone you do not need to uninstall the game it will update and remove the unheeded files
