    It would be nice if Rare would put in an anti cheating system to prevent aimbots from being used by PC players. When I get one shot from 200m with cannon three times in a row it gets really annoying. Also the fact that console players can't hit PC players in the hit box with a blunderbuss at close range on a the same ship tells me something fishy is aloof.

    Also the trolls/greifers are getting to the point where the game is virtually unplayable on a sloop. It's almost as bad as the Ark Survival Servers that wild card runs. Just about ready to uninstall, fortunately I have game pass so I didn't have to pay one cent to Rare for this game yet.

    @Creamys-puppet I would say ask RARE to put in an "anti-cheating system" with the aim boting, but I do want them to fix the aim boting a little bit, making it to where half of the NPC enemies are aiming at you and the others delay. Those eye-of-reach skeletons are somewhat of a pain, until you get use to (and this also implies to the other weapons that also skeletons aim bot), jumping around, up and down the elevation and eat bananas (if needed).

    Yeah, but just try to out maneuver them and avoid coming in that region, unless they are AFK.

    You can't really assume its aimbot right of the bat. But an easy fix would he to add a kill cam...

    The problem you're experiencing with the not being able to hit what you think is a PC player is actually latency.

    That latency may not actually be your connection, but the connection of the enemy players you're VS.

    Example, if you're in AUS, and you're fighting some guy in Canada, then you're gonna have problems even if that server is 20 meters from your door because you appear exactly where you think you do, but because of how these kinds of games work you're actually at a disadvantage because he can hit you, but you cannot hit him.

    He doesn't even need to be cheating to accomplish this, but just very far from the server or have a poor connection.

    So far I have only dealt with 2 players who are cheating, but it's plausible that the number of cheating players that I have faced is higher.

    The only time I get suspicions is when fighting a guy that never missed a shot, and I mean every trigger pull is a hit.

    If you encounter that, you ought to report it.

    However, remember there are some really great players out there that do have high but probability, but even these miss shots.. That's how you kinda know if a dude is good or a bot.

    I think i would not notice any cheaters in this game since i dont do pvp combat.. i see them coming and just sail and keep distance but ok sometimes i get surprised and boarded.. im no match in combat so i sink and respawn and nothing happens..

    There is no highscore, no combat stats, no winning a match, no real value of loot, no game progress its just titles etc

    Its no problem its just time they waste nothing else?

    The pvp is just the fun to sink a boat? And for me the pve is fun because these pvp players make it exciting to be able to waste some of my time :)

    What is there to cheat? I would not notice or even care i just respawn and continue my game if i even met another player since there are so few boats on such a big map.

    I think i encounter more krakens then pvp players.. krakens are difficult but other players you can just keep distance from them easy?

    Offcourse i dont like cheaters they already lost the game by using a cheat and i dont like losers. But in this game i actually pitty them for being so pathetic to use a cheat in a easy game like this i just cant imagine how someone could feel the need for it

    @ruigtand-nl when someone invests time doing merchant runs and you get attacked right as your about to turn in the livestock or cargo gets super annoying. I tell them in game chat I have nothing of real value but rational thought is futile with these impetuous and obtuse little thugs. When you are in a sloop by yourself its extremely difficult to defend yourself and protect your cargo from breaking, dying, or wilting with people trolling you at an outpost for nothing of real value.

    They are nothing more than petty thugs and bullies who make it impossible to enjoy the game and level up.

    I know i play merchant a lot.. catching and selling chickens is my favorit. And they have sometimes boarded me and just killed the chickens for fun.. sometimes its like that and i to feel sick from it but other days i manage to escape survive and deliver and then i feel extra happy :D
    But dont give up we learn and after a while we manage to survive and even troll them for fun getting them to chase us for an hour with no cargo at all

    If your in a sloop, expect bad outcomes and carry a rowboat.

    Your cannon fodder for everyone else.
    Act accordingly. Defend yourself or run.

    @faceyourdemon with how trolly it's getting it is starting to get close to how trolly that game is. I played ark long enough to know how bad that game is.

    @barnabas-seadog you really cant defend yourself when your solo in a sloop, only try to out maneuver them and hope they hit something as you take tight turns.

    What can you expect from people who enjoy sinking unmanned ships. It always makes me laugh how they get satisfaction from a no challenge situation. Just people wanting to watch the world burn. I like many other enjoy leading these kind of players on the endless chase. Alas, the game wouldn’t be what it is without these nasty folk. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

    I think more than anything, double shot needs to be addressed. There is no room for recovery or counter against it. M/KB players already have the advantage of control over the majority of us who use controllers, and giving them the incentive to be able to shoot people in quick succession is just plain bogus. Joe Neate even addressed the double shot as something that is not in the spirit of the game because it effectively renders Blunderbuss and Cutlass useless, while pandering to the hardcore/elitist players while bringing down the level playing field factor.

    @orbitalbinkie The Game is advertised as Cross-play . I would like to play Cross-Play because I bought a Cross-Play Game. That would be false advertising.

    You can't consider other players "Griefers". Because it is an pirate game; you can never trust anyone. They even advertise it so. Griefers are people from your own Crew!

    These "trolls" you speak of are not Trolls at all. But they play the game as it should be, not some PVE BULL CRUDS. Learn the game. Watch the ladders, play slippery with your ship. Don't use Blunderbuss, learn to shoot the pistol.
