I have am idea of how to breathe life into Reapers Mark. I sail with RM up all the time, but I don't feel that it draws any attension anymore.
The idea is to expose on the map how much loot is on board a reaper mark ship. Just as an indicator like a bronche, silver and guld dubloon next to it.
Why would you then sail with the RM?
Well, because the value of your treasue increases for each nautical mile. Maybe up to 50%.
The number of % increase is individual for each piece of treasure, to prevent you from sailing 1000 nautical miles with a Seafarers chest and then raid a stronghold.
The nautical miles and the % are reset when:
Treasure leaves the ship for more than 1 minute except on outposts if there are no other ships in the zone.
Reapers mark is taken down.
