Community island

  • Think about this. When you load in, you dont go to the recruit a crew page, instead you go to a large community island where dozens of players meet and form crews. It will have everything; Guild merchants, merchants, a port, a broken intricate castle, taverns and etc. It would even open the option of gaining a personal room or house depending on how much you are willing to spend. You can decorate it with items and store cursed cannonballs and such. Think about it like the Tower from destiny, but actually well done. Once you gain a crew while on the island, you can set sail and be sent to a random sea of thieves server. To return, go to any outpost and go to the relevant npc. You will leave the game your currently in but hold onto the cursed cannonballs you gathered.

  • @wickedlystrange This is an excellent solution from just having a pirate haven within the map itself (which Rare stated they didn't want). I also don't think it should be too big. Personally, it should basically be an outpost on steroids:alt text
