Run with Empty Crates

  • First off, I love this game, having a ton of fun.
    one suggestion/feedback:

    If I were a pirate in real life, I am pretty sure I could run/jog with an empty crate, and would like the ability to do so in game :)

    and one bigger over arching feedback to the devs:
    it would also be fun if Skeletons with flintlocks and shottys missed every once in a while. I mean, not every time, just every once in a while...miss a few shots. Cause, Dang, every Skelly has the shootin skills of the dreaded Captain Annie Oakley .

  • @dr-orchamedes I think this is actually a really good idea! I hadn't even thought about it. But yea, if it's empty, I would like to be able to sprint. I think that's fairly balanced.

  • The accuracy has been fixed, but don't know if only for skeletons on cannons

  • I cant tell you how annoying it is 'running' around a large island looking for a golden pig only to get shot to hell with pistol (more like snipers) wielding no scoping skeletons and bitten to bits by hyper aggressive snakes. So having the ability to move normally with an empty crate, coop and basket would make things so much easier. Also the sniping skelly's need to miss their shots. the longer the distance the lower their accuracy.

    I agree but on the other hand you usually carry around 10 cannonballs in your pockets though :)

    There's some other weird things like why can't I hold a cutlass & pistol, cutlass & skull or skull & skull?

  • @fishst1ck ha! Yeah, good point about having ten cannonballs loose in your pockets lol definitely would make running difficult to say the least!

    Being able having a pistol and a skull (or any two items) at the same time would be rad too. Pistol and banana would be great

  • Skeletons miss all the time if you jump around, I don't know where people get this idea that they never miss.

    the blunderbusses you can back away from but yeah definitely agree on the flintlock, not like stormtrooper aim but just a bit off sometimes

  • @rk1-turbulence it's because it's hard to jump around and fight one, and there's too many sometimes, but yeah the guard strafe dodge thing is an easy way to jump out of the way
    (blunderbuss can easily just be backed away from)

    I 2nd the dual wield....and I 12th the run with empty crates.
