Throwing items overboard in patch 1.04

    So really curious about this part of the patch notes

    Spring Cleaning - It is now easier to place chests and skulls on shelves in the Captain's Cabin, and to drop items overboard!

    Did they implement some sort of toss to drop items overbaord? I haven't been able to try yet. Can anyone confirm the mechanics of this?

    I mean, probably not otherwise we'd be told in patch notes that we can throw.

    They probably just increased the drop distance from your character from directly under them to forward a bit more.

    Yeah I think it's the drop distance. Probably added so you can drop the explosive barrels behind your ship into the path of pursuing ships, which would be fun.

    Also handy for dropping that chest caught half way down a cliff

    @xgodkevin I'm curious as well. This could be really beneficial when sneaking aboard another ship and dropping their loot into the ocean discretely
