Please let us skip the game intro and the pop-up message that appears every time I boot up the game.
@guybrush-ii You actually already can. If you're on Xbox, just hit X or B. I believe on PC it's escape to skip it.

Would you rather they spent a few days working on this, or on actual features?
@lord-of-goats You could say that about anything you don't see as a priority. It's a small issue, but it's certainly an annoying issue.
@nebenkuh Yea bud, flushing the toilet is a struggle. What is this?
It's a simple quality of life addition that could be included. Stop being a white knight thinking the game is infallible and excluded from scrutiny. I wouldn't even mind if it was just the first time the game loaded up, but you need to skip it every time you back out of a game. Like I said previously, it isn't a major issue by any means, but it would certainly be a welcome change.
@lord-of-goats Objectively insane? lol. Alright i'm done here. Carry on agreeing with each other gents.
@lord-of-goats a dit dans Please let us skip the game intro and the pop-up message that appears every time I boot up the game. :
@blackbeard-lufy there's a huge difference between white knighting and saying that what you're asking for is objectively insane.
Every game has an intro sequence. Some don't even let you skip. If you're playing this game every day,you've seen it at most 17 times. Get over it.
Some don't even let you skip, but actually, most only play it once, the first time you launch the game. It's a detail but it's also a quick fix so in my book, it worth it because right now, it's a blot on the landscape and it's quite surprising from Rare given how meticulous they are about details.
Just because it is easy to skip doesn't mean there is any reason you should HAVE to skip it, take a game like WoW for example, after each new expansion you get a big intro cinematic when you first launch the client, but then the next time you launch it it doesn't play it again because it knows you've already seen it, if you actually want to see it again you can play it on demand from the login screen.
Either the intro should be play-once with the option to play it whenever you want, or there should be an option in settings to auto-skip it on future launches, it's really not hard to understand, and anyone suggesting that this would take important time away from developers is an idiot, it would take a matter of hours at most to add a simple auto-skip option.
Likewise the notices should have a checkbox to say "Don't show me this again", another simple feature that has been in games for literally over a decade.

It really should be a checkbox option to auto-skip in the Settings menu though.
I agree with this wholeheartedly. An auto-skip option would be a simple quality of life fix that would make it all the more easy to quickly start playing.
@nebenkuh it canbe an issue when you back out of your gameon a sloop to start a galleon with your friends, or when you randomly get kicked and have to get back in to your game with friends. I have skipped theintro scene more times than I can remember. It is a simple fix to put into the options to turn it on or off.
@ladyszechuan
How can it be an issue to press esc once every now and then? It takes less than a second.Lol....... I'm laughing because I watched it 4 or 5 times myself before my kid told me I could skip it.
@nebenkuh ok issue was the wrong word, annoyance. It is annoying to have to have to skip it manually, when they could just add an option to shut it off and go straight to the menu.
@ladyszechuan
I understand that, but it's really not a big deal.
Besides, what about the artists who made the intro? Think about their feelings the next time you skip that intro!@nebenkuh we see the artist work as we play, those are just still shots of it. And no it's not a huge problem, someone made a suggestion and I agree with it.
