I love this game even though I'm 62 and not so good at pvp. In a very short time the game is fast becoming associated with a hugely overhyped game (no man's sky) which is unfair as SoT was heavily beta-tested and well known for what the game was about. I'd really hate to see the game get auto-relegated to game hell just because it's an easy target. ie microsoft hate, unforgiving pvp and the old lack of content spiel. If you want the game to be around for a long time we all need to get out and take the time to support it, get excited about it and tell the world. Don't let it become just a meme of dislike because it's cool to do so.
SoT becoming a disliked meme. We need to support the game we care about.
@jeddak1955 I am in agreement with you. I am really enjoying the game immensely. And, I am content that over time RARE will add in new things for us to do. I'd really like to see them add a filter to random crew partnering so I can choose to always crew with folks with mics but that's a small issue not worth me getting all freaked out angry like these youngsters ;)
@jeddak1955 I think that by being vocal about the game's legitimate problems you're doing more of a service than pretending that it's ok.
If we all pretend that the game's just fine, people will get bored fast - it's two weeks out and I'm well over the gold grind for the sake of a grind (even if there was something at Pirate Legend it wouldn't be worth that tedium) and I'm tired of the way PvP has just become Marco Polo in the water between the ships.
I want to love this game but it's making so many easily fixable, basic mistakes.
