Some pirates on their adventure to be the legends

  • Our galleon reached the port in Golden Sands. We began to unload the stolen goods and sell them to local merchants, just as it was done in Nassau years ago. The sea breeze turned the skin of my sailors into a deeply dried one, and the deficiency of vitamin C predicted scurvy. No wonder, we only fed on Rum, dry meat, and here and there the fruits found on the islands. Only our fat black cook looked more healthy, he had to eat something more. I'll talk to him later, let him unload everything from the hold first.
Suddenly Sloop emerged from behind the island, he had white sails, so he was a merchant or a fisherman. There is no danger, although it surprised me that they did not get scared of our pirate flag. I told the navigator to check if they had anything on board. He brought me a chicken...
Well, at least for breakfast we will have scrambled eggs. After a while an angry little ship crew arrived shouting something about the stolen chicken. With a good heart I gave them a cage and told them to evacuate from our deck under the threat of death. In the end, no fisherman will tell me what to do. After the alcoholic drink in connection with the earned gold, it is time to leave. The crew gathered on the ship, set course, lower the sails, and adjust them for the wind. We sailed on the fort of skeletons, the legendary fort, told by sailors in taverns. Apparently, the skellies in the fort are daredevils who fell blinded by a fortune and were attached to it forever. Looking at my team, this black cook could be eaten, at least would have more fruits. Ahoy Adventure!

At the fort we met another galleon, the team said that we have no intention of talking to them so we quickly sank their ship and moored at the fort.
We went to conquer the fort. Beating in the tarabany, the skeleton of the fort gave the place even more magic. At the main gate we met about a dozen gold skeletons, the guys already wanted to take them under the armpit and take them to the ship, if only they did not have cutlasses in their hands. I quickly got to one of them and wanted to cut it in half. A metallic sound sounded, and the he laughed straight in my face and attack. In an escape from him, I shouted "pull blunderbusses out!" with the thought that they will die, but it did not help, the skeletons continued to steadily pace our positions. We retreated to the oasis in the fort, skeletons entering the water became frozen, as if tendons and joints stopped working. The blunderbuss salvo this time proved to be effective and the opponents quickly turned from dangerous into a pile of rusty bones.

We entered the fort, it was quite dark so I pulled out the lanterns and lit the darkness. Dozens of green, like mamba eyes, looked at me from every corner of the fort, but none came to attack us. I found that they are afraid of light. It will go like a wafer. "Share, one keeps the lanterns and the other fights with the sword. That will stop them!" I shouted at the crew. In fact, it took much longer, because the shadowy skeletons hid in dark corners, but the very concept of the attack was well thought out. Not from the parade I am the captain of a pirate ship.
While we were busy killing skeletons, another ship came to the fort, the crew joining us happily greeted us. They were people from chicken, fishermen. What were they doing on the fort? Perhaps they were in a life of a pirate. Well, at the most of their deaths, we'll only have two more skeletons to kill.

The drums beated once more, harder, at a higher pace. The skeleton in the red hat came out of the upper floor of the fort with a huge guard. Again we withdrew to the oasis, as soon as they entered the water we gave a salvo from the flint, but it did not help. Instead, their flowers on the bones began to radiate, probably from the addition of water. "evacuate to the beach and take a handful of sand into the hand!" I shouted loudly. As soon as they came to a dry place, we threw sand on it and started a suicide battle using our sabers and cutlass. It turned out that the flowers are very fast and after a while only the captain remained. It will be a fair fight, Captain on Captain. My cutlass in diamonds has never let me down. The twang of swords struck against each other is music for my ears. Quick dodge and slashing of the captain.

A key to the treasure was hung by his belt. We did it! We are rich! I forgot about this little ship. I hoped that they would go away for letting them live, but their captain wanted to split 1/3 for them, 2/3 for us.
Honest deal, so I agreed. We opened the treasure, and there were dozens of chests with gold, goldware and spices from all over the world! The team eagerly moved the goods to the ship. After filling the hold with treasures, we sailed again towards the nearest port. Rum was pouring liters, and the songs of victory were endless.

  • I really enjoyed reading this! It took me a few sentences to bridge the gap between "added" effects and actual game play. Once your mind makes the jump, it flourishes into a wonderful entry that's full of information and intrigue. Will definitely be following, if there will be anymore entrys.
