  • @machomanugget If its anything like Steam's sharing, I'm assuming you would need two copies of the game (Thus two accounts) in order to use them at the same time and play together.

  • no you can have 1 player on PC and one on XBOX1 with one copy of the game, i do know this much...

  • True, you need two copies and your own Microsoft accounts to play together unless you game share and have two Xbox One consoles.

  • I think as long as u got win10 store sot u can play pc and xbox share :) think need 2 xbox accts

  • You’ll need to have purchased a digital copy on the Microsoft store or Xbox live, and make sure the account that owns the game has the Xbox One set as its home console. After that, the account owner has to play on PC while the other plays on console.

  • @machomanugget Where did you purchase the game?

  • thanks for the replies, I worked it out...

I set my Xbox One to home console,

Created a family account on my XboxOne

Logged in to Sea of Thieves on that account (New Family Acc) on XboxOne

Logged into my main account on PC

Launched game on both formats, made party that way, was able to play Co-Op on Xbox/PC

I got the game via my gamepass subscription, as Microsoft said it was day one game pass, and co-op / Cross play from day one.

How Awesome is that, seriously how awesome are Xbox/Rare/Microsoft.. thanks so much! i have one Pirate mad son who i can play with Co-op with..
