All items disappear from Item Radial Menu (Q wheel)

The very first encounter I had with another player, all of my items disappeared. I relogged, got all my items, and just now after doing my first voyage my items are gone again. Both times it happened near an outpost.
It reminds me of when hackers take away all your weapons in GTA Online.

Is this a bug or hackers? Never saw this problem during early access tests.

no its not hackers haha. they dont just hack random peoples inventory. its a glitch that occured to me and you ahve to either die or restart. I forgot why it happens but it has to do with the voyage inventory. dont worry i felt the same, its pretty annoying. had it in the final beta

It's a bug. Happened to my brother while we were out slooping.
He is on Xbox. I'm on PC. Hasn't happened to me yet.

Happened to me too. I also had issues of binding a weapon, I could only use my sword.
