ROW BOATS/ ESCAPE BOATS anyone?

  • Welcome to this post!

I was wondering if we could have some sort of row boat on the back of the Galleon (only), so that if it starts to sink, we can easily escape. But, of course there must be a balance, so I am suggesting that only 2 people can embark onto the row boat. The boat should not go any faster than the Galleon and so should be easy to chase down.

The rowboat could be at the back or back-side of the Galleon and have really light armour (1 hit from cannonball = broken) and this would give crew on a Galleon one last spec of hope of escaping another Galleon or Sloop.

It's just an idea and the sound of it is quite fun. What are your thoughts?

  • @satirical-yt since no one has said a thing on this I will.... while it's a good idea I don't think it will happen..... I will say though I thought there would be BECAUSE IF YOU LOAD THE GAME ON THAT PICTURE THERE IS GUYS IN A ROWBOAT

  • @p0pc0rnh3mer01d I never noticed that! :D Probably just artistic ideas or something like that. :(

  • @satirical-yt seems more like false advertisment to me .. it's like the kraken is in that picture as well , would you just say oh well if they didnt put that in too? personally im dissapointed there is no rowboats

Rowboat sounds like another vessel on the seas. I propose another type of small, personal watercraft:
    The Pirate Sailboard
I know there was no such thing as a Windsurfer in the 1700's, but imagine a huge Hawaiian surfboard made of koa wood, with a single mast attached to the board by some sort of universal joint. With a sail and teak boom handles like the original Windsurfer from the 1980's. It could be an item that's stored on the wheel like another tool.
A pirate sailboard would be way more dynamic than a fuddy duddy rowboat.
Pirates on Windsurfers, now there's some fun. Of course you can only sail it if you know how to windsurf, lol.
