So please forgive me if this is possible already, or in the works. Was thinking it would be great if you could literally give gold pieces to others. Either as a gift, thank you, or payment for a pirate who perhaps joined a 2 person crew but is unable to get rewards for voyages.
Great potential for roleplay and emergent gameplay around being a privateer or hired hand. Imagine a 4 crew galleon hiring on 2 more hands and giving them a “cut” of the loot?

@skaary27 just to be clear my intent is to be able to compensate others for supporting a crew not their own.
When we turn in a voyage goal the reward is only distributed to those who are part of your crew. Let’s say another pirate supported you greatly, “joined“ your ship, and accompanied you back to port. After turning in the reward your crew would be able to give him say, 20 gold each as compensation.
Or, alternatively it someone’s birthday and you just want to give them 200 gold in game! LOL
