Dont have "Founder" status

  • Hey Guys,

    Seems im not having a "Founders" Tag, even though i played in Alpha.
    As far as i know people who played in Alpha are getting "Founder" Status or am i misinformed?
    Also i didnt get any Emails from SoT ever (the only ones i got are those "Weekly Insider" ones, nothing about Alphas or Stuff like that), someone else got this Problem?

  • Wasn't there a cut-off date of December 1st? Were you in before then?

  • @nos37 I Joined Tech alpha like Middle of September, didnt get any invite for Tech Alpha until the last Big Alpha

  • same its in my account info but not in forum i tried what it said in support and it didnt work

  • The "Insider" badge remains the "Insider" badge, but if you previously had the "Technical Alpha" badge it will have changed to the "Founder" badge.

  • @nos37 so what did i have to do to get the "Tech Alpha" Badge back then?

    I don't know; I wasn't around back then. I tried Googling it, and I have tried clicking the 'Founder' title next to some of the names here on the forum with no luck.

  • i preordered it so im good anyway my main concern was that it would keep me out of beta i was in alpha but only the last one but was in the program like 4 or 5 months

  • I went through the profiles of a couple Founders and saw that the youngest (join dates) were 4 months and 5 months, which is the same join period as yours, @VenusAnwalt9715. I'm not sure what the difference is.

  • @venusanwalt9715 support has been closed over Christmas and New Year with tickets being automatically closed. Rare are back at work today, so give it a few days and if you don’t get a reply, send in again.

  • I have the exact same issues with you. I know friends who received the respective Founder Status and joined close to me. The issue seems to be server side related with the Forum. On My Account in the Sea Of Thieves I have the founder status but on the Forum Side I only have Insider Status. Either the forum haven't been updated for some time, or I don't understand.

    I tried raising a support ticket but it is pending response. The good part is that someone sent a message at a certain time but didn't reply back. Oh well, at least is not the holiday random message.

    Shows up in my account as Founder, just not in the forums.

  • I got the email that I was upgraded to Founder but it is not showing me as one in the forums or in my account.

    Before there was a similar problem (or maybe the same) and this solution worked for some:

    Step 1: Log out of the forums (On all the devices on which you are connected). Click your icon in the top right, click "Logout" in the top right
    Step 2: Clear your browser cache, or open an incognito/private browser.
    Step 3: Log in with the email address and password of your Gamertag that was Invited.

    I hope it works for you :)

  • Ok cool I do. How much did you play the game and did you answer feedback things? I don't know for sure, but maybe if you only played like once or didn't answer the feedback things you weren't seen as a valued member of the community.

  • @atomicbunnybomb Anyone who played the game or even just signed up before December 1st would have the Founder badge regardless of how much they posted, if at all.

  • I joined 2 months ago before 1st December. Either I wouldn't have Founder> I will have wanted to post feedback but I can't access that particular forum. That's why I am trying to get that status.

  • @el-espectro-0 I did all these previously except I didn't check to see if I was logged in on any other devices, I have done so now.
    So this is a test.

    Test Failed, oh well it's not that big a deal as I've already preordered anyways. It's just more of an annoyance.

  • @akbar37 The last thing I know about that issue is that Rare was working on it, but I have not seen any news about it again.

  • Thank you for your reply. I already did all our steps but I just tried what you said @DHG-IXxRMACxXI . The ID of the invite has the same user with me - Sapca11v1 . Probably there is something wrong with the forums. Hopefully they will check it out. There are more users who have this issue.
