Respawning locations

  • I'm not much of a PvPer, but it'd be nice if you always spawned your new ship at an outpost, so you can at least restock and re-raise your emissary if you're going for a salty runback.

  • Your new ship is already restocked., and what if you dont want to re-raise the flag after sinking?

It's not like the outpost forces you to put a flag up. You can just sail away without it. And what if I do want a flag? Or I want to buy and cook some meat for the runback? Quality of life features like the supply buying aren't available from random islands.

And if I don't want a salty runback on the crew that sank me, I then have to slink to the nearest outpost to put my flag back up so I can get back to having fun. I hear they're implementing a force server split after three sinks to prevent too many salty runbacks from one ship. I think just giving the runbacker a little time to think, putting them in a planning mindset, and giving them less idle time to stew, might be more efficient, all while giving the sunk player immediate access to flags and more easily acquired resources.

  • @flashkannon5118 They should really add this it would make a huge difference, This is probably the only form on here I’ve seen that doesn’t sound like some crybaby that didn’t have its way.

  • @burnbacon Well.. what if you want to restock your ship with good food from captains, etc??
