I think each update should have an adventure style quest like a few years ago, with some allowing the community to decide the fate/outcome similar to the golden sands and pendragon/flameheart quests. Starting as timed adventures with a reasonable timeframe to allow players who may not have a lot of free time to be able to join in. Once it finishes, the quest should be made into a tall tale so the main quest can be done at anytime afterwards (if the quest involves a community decision obviously that will already be determined but the quest leading up to that/small tasks could maybe be put into a tall tale or voyage on the captains table). Old adventures should be instantly made into tall tales and the sea dogs tavern could be made into a library with mercia appearing or umbra as it's curator/custodian with all tall tales both past and future added to this library with the tavern below making it a sort of semi-outpost and also sudds could move to the sea dog tavern with a observatory attachment to sea dogs which could be used for future lore. Overall, I just think the lore needs to be used more side by side with the content features that are added to make the world as interesting as it used to be. I feel new players also don't understand the lore and won't be as interested unless something like this or just more lore is introduced to stimulate them. (Sorry for this long thread, just thought I'd voice my thoughts)
