It either needs to become a new outpost or something otherwise it’s just a place sitting in K11 for nothing yeah you can use shipwright by a lady who talks to you like you’re a dog and the other weapon, clothes, tools and equipment shops…. But you can just stop at an outpost for the exact same thing… and also we need a new shanty yes a new shanty
The sea dog tavern needs to have a purpose for visiting again!

It would be nice to add some sort of functionality to it again
It never had functionality.
It should become Flameheart's Keep, now that he's back it would be nice to see him taking over the place, it doesn't make much sense for him to leave a building like that in the hands of his enemies being so close to Reaper's Hideout. In Lore that was once a fortress belonging to him.
From a gameplay perspective, it would be nice to see an exclusive Reaper outpost, with a shipwright, shops, a skeleton merchant to sell resources... the only question would be whether or not we could equip trading company flags.
@lleorb I really hope they don't do that.. They just need to build up Reaper's Lair into a fortress. Sea Dog's Tavern becoming Flameheart's Keep would be so sad. It's def my favorite place to just hang out and chill.
@thamb0 Within the current possibilities, I think it's better to go to Reapers than to become another outpost... being from the reapers it can be the stage for many events related to the plot, it would certainly be a worthy home for the most important villain in the game.
Maybe it could become a base for the Dark Brethren and the place where Flameheart's great rival will be located, it would be interesting because of its proximity.
Other than these two options I don't see much use for the place, the main building could be used to some form of guild hideout perhaps(there would have to be a loading screen for that). I used to like the idea of becoming an outpost, but now they can just renovate the outposts like Port Merrick did, I find that a preferable option for developing the world.
@h0b0jo0e The arena waiting room is not at the Sea Dog tavern that is on the map. It was a separate space below the map, like the Athena Hideout or the Ferry of the Damned. It's not actually inside the exterior model, and in fact the interior likely wouldn't fit within that space.
