I was just on my way to finish the Legend of the Veil stopped at Dagger Tooth for a quick supply run and then (as almost everyone does) accidentally voted on the Revenge of the Morningstar Tall Tale at the Shipwrights. As you don't need to cancel Voyages to begin another anymore, this instantly deactivated my veil and lost me the payout. I can see this happening a lot to people in future and hope that Tall Tale books on islands can be locked while on an active quest or at least give you a warning prompt if you're busy.
Lock Tall Tale books while on an active voyage
I believe this was an issue prior to S11 as well, since the Veil is a voyage but the book takes up the Tall Tale slot and if you started a TT it would stop the Veil. Daggertooth is one of the worst offenders for doing this accidentally because the book is placed around a bunch of barrels and boxes that players loot before shipping off.
Honestly with the tall tails being accessable from the captains table there is no reason for them to be at the islands anymore. I was 2/3 through the new key quest and went to offload some of the loot, just in case, bumped the cursed rogue tale and lost my mission progress. The chest, the keys, the maps, all of it gone in an instant. Very avoidable rare.

Making them hold to activate instead of press would help a lot I think.
this! I just lost my voyage because I accidentally somehow voted on a tall tale bumping into it and hitting the wrong key. not realizing it was there!
