I have been saying this for the better half of 5 years now. There is no Japanese Clothing or Weapon or Cosmetic Aesthetic. Sure, there is the Ashen Winds Equipment, however that is more Chinese than it is Japanese. The sakura weapon set is not at all what I wanted and was baffled by it. As I have family that hail from Hachioji, Japan; we have been really hoping one day, there would be Japanese clothing and equipment (I have even streamed in my do [samurai armor] and kimono and yukata as I am apart of the Creative Crew to try and raise some awareness). The things I would LOVE to see are as follows...
-Yukata / Kimono - with the sakura spring blossom pedals on them - maybe on the backs - to match the sails
-Hakama - in blue, red and maybe dark green or brown
-Geta Sandals
-Samurai Armor in maybe 2 colors (like the Sovereign Jack armor - Maybe a red do (pr. Doe) with the sakura pedals like on the Spirng Blossom sails and a black do with red lacing and the aforementioned sakura pedals on its front.
-Gasa bamboo hat
-Katana
-Kyahan Leg Wraps in black or tan
-Full body Japanese tattoos to mark our outcast, Wakou behaviors. Maybe with the wind fans and add splash tails like a koi or a dragon (I'd even settle for the Ashen Dragon coil) - I am sure the team has seen Asian style tattoos.
