Today was made better, and that's because I got pirate legend. I decided to hop on to try to get more Merchant levels. I was walking out the Tavern when I had the 200 IQ thought of checking Larinna to see if I can buy a letter of recommendation for Merchants, and I did, but what surprised me was that there wasn't 1 merchant letter of recommendation, but two! I immediately bought them both and was only a tiny bit away from level 50, so I immediately put up a merchant emissary, did a trick for level 2 emissary, and put down a cargo run, which was actually very short cuz I had to get 7 crates from Galleon's Grave, which I was at, and I had to deliver them to Wild Treasures store. I got to the store and only had to give my 3 plants to get to level 50, and I was excited, and then my friend joined cuz I told him we should play Sea of Thieves together and I had told him that I can get Pirate Legend today, so I guess he wanted to see it happen. We sold the rest to the store and we went to my favorite outpost, Dagger Tooth Outpost, where on the way I decided to put in my favorite weapons, the inky kraken cutlass and the mercenary pistol. Once at the outpost, I got the promotion title I needed from the merchants and then we went to the Mysterious Stranger and I got it, though for some reason I decided to read the Stranger's dialogue, and I don't know why I did it, but I think my me wanting to make big thing more dramatic. I got the song and title and we went to the hideout, where I immediately bolted to Legendary Luke to buy the Legendary Banjo, and I did buy the fishing rod, the legendary flag, and the legendary sails, and all of that drained my golden bank account to the point where I couldn't buy the more expensive stuff in the hideout, but whatever. We then got into an alliance with a merchant sloop who we would meet up with at a ghost fleet. While at the ghost fleet, my timer went off, I have a time limit for how long I can game on my Xbox, and I decided to get off once our alliance friend got there so that my friend, who's still kind of new to the game, but not really, so that he wouldn't sink. Our alliance friend got there and I informed him that I had to get off and if he could help my friend.
After all my hard work for like 6 months, I can finally calm down the Sea of Thieves grind and play some other games like Grounded, Minecraft, and Stranded Deep, though I still will play Sea of Thieves whenever my friends are on or when I want to play. But I should also find a new thing to do, like helping other players using my status or maybe use my other account and have a second pirate because why not, or start doing more tall tales, or even start hunting ships for fun, but I'll definitely have to find a voice changer that makes me sound like the Mandalorian so I can do have fun being a bounty hunter. But for now, I'll celebrate this victory.
