I had some weird thing on the map for a while where it was slowly zooming in

What are your deadzones? Could be that it's only in SoT because the deadzones are lower then your other games or the menu.
At the same time you can check if you can solve the problem by setting your deadzone to a higher number. First try the highest setting and see if it no longer moves. If that helped, try to find out what the lowest number is where you stand still when your stick is in neutral.
