It would be cool to have the rest of the wicked web set for the next spooky event. We are currently missing sword, flintlock, eye of reach, sails, capstan, wheel, hull and all the equipment outside of the tankard. I would be happy even with only a finished ship set.
Wicked web items for Halloween / Spooky Event?
@sarjentstupid on u with this one y1 festival items should return only festival items no other y1 item like other games do gta 5 runescape and wow
I have always liked the idea of holiday items returning each year alongside new ones, but SoT doesn't really do this. I was disappointed when I wasn't given an opportunity to re-obtain the Frozen Horizon gloves and belt the following year (they only released the weapons for the set), or the Lucky Clover tankard that I had passed on the prior year, but decided to get the next only to find that it wasn't even available in March... 🙄
Oddly enough, other holiday items were still made available in following years, like the Reaper's heart weapons and pets, and the Krampus skeleton costume. Why is Rare even selective in these cases?

I have 1k hours on the seas, yet to see that hull anywhere other than on twitch streams....... seems like a waste that so few players will actually get to see most of the coolest cosmetics in the game since they're generally time-limited.

^^This x1000...I'm over 2500 hours and I've never seen any of the Wandering/Inevitable Reaper stuff.
Such a shame.
I've seen the Wailing Barnacle stuff once that I can remember.
The Mercenary stuff I've only seen once that I can remember.
I've seen the OG Bonecrusher stuff a couple times.
If you started playing after 2019....the time-limited ship cosmetics are few and far between...and they pail in comparison to the stuff from the early days.
In 2020, the time-limited ship cosmetics amounted to:
-X Marks the Spot sails (play between 1/15/20 and 1/22/20)
-The Golden Hauler Figurehead (Turn in 180 Ruby Splashtails between 2/23/20 and 3/9/20)
-Bone Crusher Sails (this one returning upset some people) (Defeat 8 Skeleton Ships during The Cursed Sails Anniversary 3/27/20 to 4/2/20)
-Figurehead of Courage (Arena focused and had a few variants depending on how many goals you completed) (5/7/20 through 5/28/20) (or 8/19/20 through 9/30/20)That's it...effectively 4 ship parts in 2020...and one of them was them bringing back an item that was supposed to be time-limited...
You wonder why people don't want to see Season cosmetics come back? It's because if you started playing in 2020, you were made to feel left out of time-limited stuff.

@goofythescot I typically run colorful ships but I should make a point to use cosmetics that I wouldn’t normally run just to get some variety.
