Allow players to spend a handful of doubloons to display the top 3 most valuable items on the quest board.
Players spend these doubloons with the OOS Madame.
Madame does a little animation, says something interesting, tells player to take a rest.
Player sleeps in their bed, gets quick glance of the highest value loot as a dream.
Only includes player generated maps.
Players who have their item featured as a top 3 get renown or rep for the item upon logging in.
Why? People don't use the Quest board because it's badly thought-out.

Hmmm...It seems like one of these is much more likely to be done than the other...
Honestly; you should not be able to lose the maps, since you're giving up treasure to make them. But Rare be Rare, and every choice needs 5,000 downsides to make it Not Worth It.

I really like your idea of sleeping in game leading to some specialty event or quest.

What you consider valuable might be worthless to others.
So how would this be any good?Some people if not everyone bury worthless or random junk. I rather it be a mystery like any normal treasure you dig up

Why? People don't use the Quest board because it's badly thought-out.
You can either:
- Grab the treasure & turn it in for the gold, risking losing it if you're sunk.
Or- Bury the treasure, get a lesser reward IF someone takes the quest and IF they dig it up and IF they turn it in. While risking losing the map if you're sunk.

I was also disappointed in the quest board and haven't used it. Seems a waste of time. Like doing Hunger's Cry.
