Cats are natural hunters! I'd love to see them with some animations for rat-hunting now that these rodents are on the ship! Cats should be able to dash after them every once in a while, and come meowing over to you with one proudly caught in it's mouth. The cat can deliver it by your feet and look pleased with itself for offering this incredible gift to their human. Let them catch the rats!

Why ? But no , those lovely little rats always warn me , when my boat is sinking while i'm being mesmerized with the world ... And i don't throw away my food just because it has a bit of ratdroppings ...?!? i just see it as extra " seasoning" ( * Bwaarf , you rambling fool , you just made me puke , old illegal son!)
@lobby-meat I think this is a very cool idea. I like the idea of pets in the game (I have a Whippett myself as it looks like one of my Greyhounds) and while I enjoy watching him dance and whatnot, I think that watching him chase down a small animal like a chicken would be fantastic.
I don't think everything needs to serve everyone but in general new additions (imo) should bring something positive to the game while minimizing upsetting people's reasonable sensitivities.
This doesn't really bring positive substance and is clearly going to be a vibe killer for some people.
It's escapism with a positive vibe and personally I don't see this as being something that is consistent with that vibe.
