  • The set have a cosmetic every item, but it's missing a compass for some reason, Im not sure if it was intentional or not

  • I noticed this as well. I think it's an oversight, because the original Wild Rose compass is only obtainable by completing the Wild Rose Tall Tale. Hopefully, they'll rectify their mistake.

  • its irritating I just bought the whole set and missing a compass, the model exists from the tell tale so should not be an issue to add the recolour, sort it Rare.

  • Hoping it was just missed and will be added soon.

  • If they ever get around to adding a compass for it, hope they use the gilded model instead of the wild rose one

  • @greengrimz It’s always irritating when they release another unfinished set.

  • The compass is a tall tale reward. Do the tall tale and get it. I hope they don't make it available otherwise. i destroys the special nature of the reward.
I don't have it yet. I am willing to earn it though.

  • The original one is a nice compass. Even if they add the Thriving variant, I don’t think I’ll be using it. I like it as a Tall Tale reward.

Yet since launch, full sets have been the exception not the norm.

  • @butterybarnacls you can't get the thriving rose stuff without completing all the commendations for the rose tale. so why should we not be able to buy it if we do all the stuff?

  • @butterybarnacls facepalm 🤦🏻‍♂️

The Compass is for completing the tale once. The Wheel is for full completion.
The Thriving Wild Rose set is also for full completion. The new set has EVERYTHING (Wheel included) but the Compass.

  • @butterybarnacls So there's no reason for a missing compass! 🤔

  • it's an oversight, the original Wild Rose compass comes from the tall tale and is instead called "Rose's Compass" which technically makes it part of a different set, so the devs must've missed it

  • @joe-krakatoa outpost shop sets are supposed to be full. And at this point, the lack of consistency with the ship sets is getting annoying. Still missing the silent barnacle Figurehead btw.

  • Rare please.

give us an indication that the compass is coming and its a mistake leaving it out?

The only thing consistent is the inconsistency.
I can agree it's maddening how Rare releases all the games cosmetics. I would describe it as quirky.

But I have to admit, it is entertaining how it effects all of us pirates.

Btw, I rarely ever used the Wailing Barnacle Figurehead in three years, but it sure looks sweet with the Silent Barnacle and the Sunken Sorrow hull livery.

  • @joe-krakatoa ah, the Barnacle ship sets are some of my favorite in the game. I use them both pretty often. At least we’re going to get completed Emissary ships next season.

Actually, if you take every single cosmetic category into account, not a single set in the entire game is complete.
