So I was solo hunting in brigantine, and I spotted a ship by Plunder. I swing by it, pump it with cannonballs I am trying to adjust sails and make another pass , I turn around and I see ship is gone. So now I am thinking they either somehow manage to sail on other side or just sunk. It was to short time to sink so I am thinking they must be on other side of island, I drop sails and circle the place but I don't see a ship. I stop at the place they were parked and I see nothing in the water.
Now I am utterly confused, so set my ship to nice circle and fire myself from cannon to do 360 and there is no ship nearby. I do another circle around island and as I am about to leave, I see ship simply appear out of thin air in the same spot they were parked before. And when I say appear out of think air I mean I am looking at the water there is no ship than boom ship is there, like somebody just turn off some cloaking.
It literally looked like scene from Start Trek when Klingon ship is disengaging cloaking.
Anybody else seen something like that?

What the Devil is goign on here.... Flying Dutchman in game or ship cloaking?
The fact that it was at an outpost likely means that the original crew logged out and the game happened to drop a new crew in at the same outpost with you there.
The game isn’t supposed to start you out near another ship but this game does all sorts of things that technically aren’t supposed to happen.
