Agreed! He is probably the best I've seen at this game.

I enjoy phuzzybond for his laid back and chill vibe, helps new players but attacks veterans.

Hitbotc is good for a laugh and always action packed.

Not a fan of Pace22... Just seems to mindlessly sink and destroy anything and everything...

Mixelplx however is just insanely skilled and it is impressive the manoeuvres and plays he continually pulls off! Plus he is quite chill and funny too.

One of his latest videos is of him taking on a fully manned Galleon AND a highly skilled duo sloop at the same time, whilst he is SOLO, and winning. Peak performance lol

@swimmdude1 There's no "correct" way to play the game. No such thing.
So the guy does everything in the game, that's cool.

But don't bash on other streamers because you put this guy on a pedestal.
IE: "Not server hopping for the same fotd content we have seen for a year. "

There is no need to "change" the game, no need for a new "era."
Whats so bad how the game works now? I mean sure, more pve content so i can get more free loot from sinking plebz, thats fine. And perhaps have favorite skins, so you don't need to go to 2nd or 3rd page to get the sword skin you want.

The game won't die aslong as theres sinking to be done and pve content to clear.
If they do however add any of these silly "safezones" or other carebear features, the game will die for sure.

I have a love hate relationship with Mixel.

I used to run into him ALL THE FREAKING TIME in arena. One of the hardest matches I ever had to deal with.

I took notice of the player right away. Had no idea who he was but started to recognize the name as he was the only player in sloop arena that would consistently cause me issues.

I would lose 100% of the time if he was in the match. Every freaking time.

If I left him alone, he would win because he would disable ships and then get into perfect rotation just wailing on the ships for points.

If I go after him then I can stop him from winning BUT I STILL LOSE because we just end up sinking each other over and over while some other player wins.

I later found out who he was when I ran into him in Arena again and started complaining to my crewmates on chat. "GOD **** IT, its mixel again. Damn it, now I have to sit up in my chair, no more leaning back free wins lol. Damn this guy is way to freaking good. Well Im going to lose the next like 5 matches no matter what I do."

My friend heard me and told me he was a streamer. I played against the guy repeatedly for a LONG TIME before I realized he was a streamer.

Best part?? He apparently started to play adventure more and I've been running into him in adventure. lol.

He is a really good player and I LOVE and HATE fighting him. Love the challenge but geez hes good on cannons and the hes one of the only players I know where its a constant helmsman battle. Usually I always win when it comes to the wheel. Players are REALLY bad or don't understand how important the wheel is. Him, its always close.

@xultanis-dragon You lucky duck, I've only come across him once in Arena, back in the 1.0 version days. He beat me soundly but I'd still like another shot at him, at some point. Trouble is that I'm in Australia and I think he's American so I'm not usually in American servers. Anyway sounds like a fun rivalry, I wonder if he recognizes you?

I ran into him Thursday and it seemed he didn't know which is fine. Only reason I remember him is because his name reminds me of one of supermans villians and I'm a big superman fan. I never really had to work for Arena wins but I always take note of the persons or crew that I lose to or that are super good. I started to recognize the name after so long. After watching his stream for the first time a few weeks back when I ran into him again in adventure, I doubt he would notice because he doesn't ever actually play hardcore really. If he loses he moves on and just does it again.

I lose I take names and make notes. I'm really competitive lol.

On thursday what happen was we were sailing and saw a sloop with a reapers mark. Attacked it while it was attacking another sloop.

My friend shot off and said "holy ***** dude its mixel again." - I was like are you freaking kidding me?? AAARGGGGGH

We sank him luckily but only because he was solo and we were in a brig. If he had someone on wheel would have been a different story. Would have definitely been a drawn out fight like ALWAYS when I fight him.

After we sank him we were worried that he would come back. So I kept checking map debating on whether we should just push him out of the server. He was solo now but later when he wants revenge, especially when he gets supplied up?? The mans cannons and chains are on point. So I kept tittering on whether or not to force him out of the server while we could.

Not to be mean but the guy is dangerous. Fights between good players can literally come down to a single cannonball or chainshot and if I attack him early then he has less supplies.

Eventually we noticed that he was at the fort since he was still flying the reapers mark. I took over cannons at the end, got a good amount of cannon hits then used chains. Out of everyone I ever fought he is the fastest when it comes to getting the sail back up. So I figured if I hit him a few times THEN knock down his mast, even IF he catches the mast and tries to repair it he should be close to sinking and hopefully panicking or mad bucketing. Basically keeping him away from the wheel and his cannons.

I knew he left the server when we merged which I was kind hoping he would have stayed. He had some loot on board and I wanted to sell it for his commendation but he left pretty quickly afterwards I think.

This is the 3rd time I've run into him in adventure. Last time we were both on sloops and the fights were close but skelly ship screwed me and we were super low on supplies from the get go and he sunk me. I got my revenge later but still.

Arena was way more often and again more of a headach. Awesome battles but again it was a 100% loss for me. Either he goes off and just destroys the lobby, or I go after him and we both lose. In the end my loss either way.

SIDE NOTE It was really mind boggling how he just kept getting so many points off the ships he disabled. He isn't farming afk ships or anything. He just disables a ship and gets into a death circle and gets like 2k from each ship he sinks and the thing that I just can't understand is WHY players won't scuttle. You are just letting the players attacking you free farm.
