Problem with twitch drops...

  • I personally got no problem with it.
You gotta watch a stream and stuff to unlock cosmetics and its to get you to watch.

Problem is, all the streamers are about my age in their 30s and older.
We tend to swear a lot when we play games.

Not sure how i feel about kids watching grown men hurl swear words around when trying to unlock cosmetics. It doesnt seem very responsible really.

Now im not saying get rid of it, but there must be an alternative for the younger players. I dont think many parents would be happy with their kids watching some of the streams in the directory.

Are there any safeguards parents can place on their kids twitch account? If not then there needs to be.

I know its not directly connected to SOT but if they are partnered then these need to be there for their younger playerbase.

HitboTC is 'family friendly' although he says freakin' a lot.. and he tucks a lot too so I watch Beardageddon more these days but he does have a bit of a potty mouth on him..

You can't even sign into the SoT website/forums to link it to your Twitch account until you are 13 anyway before we get the usual 'kids shouldn't be playing anyway' mob revving up, so under 13's miss out on drops regardless..
