More cosmetic variety

  • Ahoy!

Have you ever really wanted this jacket in that one trailer that one character has?
Or those fine looking boots that this gold hoarder has? Before realizing the disappointement that those are not to sell, you cannot buy them as they do not exist in any shops.

So many promesses for example just the beta characters, hey! I want that jacket!
    Why can't I have it?!
People say that Sea of Thieves isn't a game of cosmetics, I disagree. Titles, tattoos, scars, facial paiting and literally anything you'll do is for the only use of cosmetics!
So isn't it ironic that you can't have what you want?

My point is, look at all the NPCs in the game and their clothing, including hair, etc... Don't you realize that you could make some great sets with those boots? But you can't have them. So I say I want Rare to give up tons more clothing options, and I'm not talking a few shirts, boots and jacket like last time. I'm saying I want something big! A whole pack! We want some more sets we can do cause literally everything is just déjà vu -_-

This image up here is the perfect example of what we don't have in the game, there are some that are here yes, but most of those thing aren't and believe me I could give you a thousand more examples, just ask.

Hopefully those cosmetics will come out soon cause I've been waiting for them for as long as Rathbone has been on the Shores of Gold.

  • I'd agree, being a cosmetic focused game I'd argue that every update should feature:

    1. Ship, Tool, Weapon, and Apparel cosmetics made available at Outpost Shops via Gold.

    2. Legend cosmetics added to the Legend Hideout Shops via Gold or Dubloons.

    3. Continue on doing what has been going on with Duke and the Black Market cosmetic options.

    4. Continue doing what has been going on with the Emporium cosmetic options.

Now, that isn't to say I think every one of these 4 categories should have full sets added every single update, but if we at least got 2 cosmetics per options 1 & 2 with the upkeep of 3 & 4 we would be sitting in a really good place long term. At least if we had been going at that since launch. As it stands, we could probably use a good solid dump of cosmetics on the main game to pad it back up, and then start running with this setup moving forward.

    Just my thoughts on it.
