@ndroidz said in this game will probably not last long, if nothing is made to improve the PVP:
it is kind of hard to apreciat a game when it is falling apart right under your feets,
Really? Because all I see are continued, and ongoing, improvements each and every month.
PVP is so broken i dont even want to play anymore,
It's not broken; it's better than ever. That said, there are still a few things to work out.
there is not one mechanics you can rely on to improve your skill on this game
Um, that's a good thing. It allows for versatility and choice. Besides, personal skill is separate from the game's mechanics. They don't necessarily go hand in hand.
because everything is random,
I assure you that it's not.
the spawntime depend on your system, your connection or server current will,
This is the case with every game, platform, and network in the entire history of online gaming. Don't like it? Then either play offline or upgrade.
there is NO fun in the PVP of this game when you framerate drop from 80 to 20 instantly right when you start aiming at a pirate,
True, but why is that happening? Is it your TV? Monitor? Graphics card? Network? The server? Don't blame the game for something else that is causing the problem.
there is NO fun when you just try to slash a pirate with your sword but you are teleporting bacause af lag
That's a your network issue that you have to resolve.
and he is too,
...and that is his issue.
Or maybe it's because of the desync between the 2 of you due to network disparities or a perhaps even distance is a factor?
there is just NO fun left in this game anymore,
I disagree - I have fun all of the time.
the only player left on this game are the same who play dayz or tarkov, the elitiste high end rig with so mush fps they dont even feel the drop when it goes down by 80 fps in seconds,
I don't play either of those games, and only have an Xbox, so... You're wrong and reaching.
they stay because they can blast others just because they can play the game without most of the issue xbox player and "normal pc player" have to face,
I destroy PC pirates all of the time - it's more about proper positioning, use of mechanics, and teamwork.
this game will end like those poorly polished indie games nobody plays anymore
Over 10 million pirates upon the sea, so I highly doubt it. Also, despite its issues (that no game is immune from), it's easily 1 of the most polished titles I know - and I own well over 800+ games, so I like to think that I know what I'm talking about here.
exept some few "PVP starving toxic cutlas"
So now you're blaming an individual weapon? And 1 that's better overall than it has ever been? Please... Stop blaming everything under the sun.
and thats it, i uninstall this trash out of my pc (the only game that make my pc goes bluescreen in 5 years of flawless usage)
Did you check the spec requirements before purchase?
just a few tips for a real PVP experience:
I doubt it...
respawn time should NOT be random
It's not; it's 10 seconds for a revive attempt; 30 seconds on the Ferry.
framerate NEED to be improve a lot(games looks like gamecube game but worse than MGSV ...like water is that gpu intensive???)
Have you seen the amount of physics this game has to handle? Water, weather, ships, pirates, skeletons, megalodons, kraken, ghosts, ambience, lighting, animations, music, sound effects, pathing, collision, AI, network stability, and on and on and on. Quite frankly, I'm surprised that it works as well as it does.
servers need to be A THING.
They are - every session you play takes place on a server.
just teleporting in a pvp game is kind of a 2007 issue, WE ARE IN 2020..
Actually that's an online issue, 'cause physics, and it's ongoing.
sirens are a huge issue when you try to sneak and actually thief some loot on an annemy ship (sea of THIEVES remember??)
That's a design choice to promote balance - without it, there would be no challenge to stealth because it would be too easy (and become the meta).
it just looks like pvp was rushed out and glued into the game at the last day of develloping in the most laziest way possible
It has had its issues certainly - some speculate that it was released by Rare too early due to Microsoft's insistence. Sadly, we may never truly know. Still, as long as improvements keep coming, and we keep reporting on bugs and other issues, I don't really see the problem here.
and now it is ruining the game because it was clearly not made for it.
Tell that to the designers. They made it according to their vision; not yours. If you don't like it, you're more than welcome to go make your own video game and learn just how hard it really is.
Instead of trying to place blame on the game itself, 1st you must look inward - what are YOU doing wrong? How can YOU improve? Is it YOUR setup? How can YOU adjust your setup for better performance?
If after that, you're still having issues, then, and only then, can you blame the game. Even when you do, spouting nonsensically and emotionally while crying "the sky is falling!" on a public forum is not how you should go about doing things. Instead, observe, take notes, record, and report any issues you find to support.seaofthieves.com where you can start to enact real change that helps everyone that enjoys this game.
...and if you don't want to take the time or initiative to do that, then well, there are plenty of other fish in the sea.
