PSA (Pirate Service Announcement) So you got a Reaper's Chest, what next?

    Hey Pirates of all shapes, sizes, and genders.
    Please get the word out that Reaper Chests are to be delivered to Reaper's Hideout. Not the outposts!

    Duke doesn't want them, do you Duke?
    "Nooooo, I don't want them." muttered Duke.
    "And neither do I!", adds Mysterious Stranger.
    And of course none of the other groups want them.

    So please, turn them in to Reaper's Hideout (I-12?). And for all that is Sea of Thieves, stop being tricky and trying to hide them. They still show up on the map.

    "Thanks for leaving them at an outpost to be delivered to the proper location!" comments Opha with glee.

    "Rare, please put a helpful tip on Reaper chests for those first time pickeruppers."

    I think the fun part of them is discovering where to deliver them.
    They are called Reaper's chests for a reason anyways...
    Anyway I got your point so maybe they should add an onboarding message for the first time you get one.

    @virtuous-opha nonsense. The appropriate thing to do with reapers chests is to hoard a servers worth of them on your ship or at an inactive fort and dare other players to come take them from you. And if you are me to promptly have a better player do that.

    Not gonna lie though I love the people who still attempt to turn them into duke. Makes my job easier trying to re-purpose the chest from them and deliver it to the proper local.

    Just yesterday I turned in 2 reaper's bounties, a reaper's chest, and an entire fleet battle worth of loot with no competition from other pirates whatsoever! 😁
