Lobby Matchmaking is a PROBLEM

  • I started playing this game again because me and a friend love playing the game for the sake of going around and finding loot. We have no problem having to fight other players at time, but we only ever get attacked by larger ships than us. We are playing only as the 2 of us on a sloop and we are constantly attacked by brigantines and the occasional galleon. How are we suppose to win? They have more people, equally as fast ships and ours is the most fragile? Why is this a thing? Keep every ship type to it's own lobby PLEASE!

  • this post has been posted for about 40 mins, and we have already been attacked by 3 brigantines and a galleon! We cant do anything. All we want to do is do our voyages, but instead we are constantly attacked. I thought the PvP mode was made for these kinds of people apparently I was wrong.

  • Lol did you my post 2 galleons defending reapers hideaway while I’m a solo sloop with literally about 25 gifts

  • @c4cg and then black screen probably because of server time and how much loot I had I guess pretty pathetic

  • @omegajawz Just because they have the numbers it dosent mean they have to win, i cant even count the times that ive sunk galleons by myself and if ive got a friend they are in trouble its all tactics and you're wrong the Sloop is the fastest ship against the wind and there are many ways to escape players you can sail to the fog (normal fog not the Devil's Shroud) or risk it to a storm and if you are playing with someone he can jump off board on their ship and drop the anchor.
There are so many ways to defeat even good groups or just to escape just learn from your mistake maybe even practice with your friend because teamwork is the most important thing in the game and before youll know youll be deep into their eyes sockets with a sword and spreading their brain's goo all over the deck with the blunderbass.
And in your journey youll meet nice people and maybe you will want to play with them and become a force to be reckon with.

  • @faceyourdemon mr bad4ss over here lol you sound ridiculous

  • @faceyourdemon yeah that don't happen for us chief we just get lit up by cursed balls making it impossible to do anything. By the way there is never fog as far as I can tell since I have seen it ONCE and storms are to uncommon. Sails against the wind is the only time its faster, but if you actually looked at the numbers to see how much, it's pretty pathetic. I get this is a pirate game and all, but only encountering PvP people is annoying to say the least. When this happens we can never get anything done. Point is more bad then good players on the seas and being on the smaller ship means you loose more then you win, stands true in more then just this game.

  • @c4cg hahaha i know [mod edit] it sounds difficult to sail in a game but i have posted it for people with basic intelligence.
I didnt came here to flex my skills he was stating that its almost impossible to win in those situations and many of us do it on the daily.

  • @omegajawz You can see storms in every server and you can see the fog ages away and its your fault for becoming a canon fodder to cursed cannonballs and the sloop is fast enough agsinst the wind to defend yourself and its YOUR decision to sail on a small ship even though its not the problem many players sinks bigger ships i even remember a sloop killing me and my alliance and we were like two galleon and a brigatine and we were good at the game and they didnt hacked.
Its all about the tactics and if you believe for some reason that the main reason was the size of the ship there are many places like discord or groups in xbox of players who want to play.
And not everyone are hostile many players can be reasonable and some just want PvP but most of the time when we do voyages we dont get attacked.

  • @faceyourdemon you don't get it do you? I play with my friend every once in a while and that's it, we play by ourselves to try to have a laugh and to have fun. Your also blaming us for not being able to avoid a cannonball even though they could just be better players since we play casually. Storms and Fog do appear yes, but never when we are trying to escape. You need to get off your high horse and realize this is coming from a casual player! We just want to have fun! If we wanted to get bombarded we would play arena!

  • @omegajawz lol who's says im a "hardcore gamer mlg pro" for how long you play its your business and when you play a game with PvP elements you are bound to meet better players then you so either you learn from that or you move its simple.
No one is sweating into his keyabord or controller taking its like its real life when i sit down and play i chat with my friends and having a good laugh but what is your complain here?
That they were better then you?
Deal with and get over it.

  • @faceyourdemon The point of this was to SAY that matchmaking should be changed to be more balanced which isn't hard to do and many would agree with. Your the one coming after me with these things saying I should have done this or that? It's not to complain that they are better, but that a casual player in a small group will loose to the larger one. By the way don't come at me like that in a post it's inappropriate.

  • @omegajawz Speak for yourself because you wont see many supporters on that most of us enjoy the balance and know that Rare cares about keeping it even.
