Sea of Glitches

  • Every time a monthly content update comes out, so does many different glitches. One example is the game changing our equipment and instruments. Rare patches these glitches but the new content erases their patches and the glitches return.

There monthly content update are to blame.

Not only that, we have only a month to complete time limited events that cannot be done ever again. People have to grind just to keep up instead of enjoying the game. If we increase the time then people can enjoy the game.

I feel the monthly content update should be quarterly. This would give the insider program proper time to perfect the new content and allow other players to complete the accommodations that are time limited.

The new fort of the dammed is permanent so people can do that at their own pace but the other events, people had to do last minute grinding. That takes the fun out of the game, especially with the threat of PvP players ruining your game

The glitches are an issue, but they're difficult to fix. Rare doesn't exactly try to put them in, and they solve many of the big ones. The equipment, it would be nice if it didn't change, but it's not game-breaking. Other things, like balancing the double-gun exploit again, would be better to fix. And for time-limited commendations, you don't have to do them. Doubloons have lost their value with the amount already saved and the introduction of the Reaper's Chest some time ago, and the titles and cosmetics aren't some full sets that you'll be dying to get. They're building the lore and appeasing those players who keep complaining that there's nothing to work towards anymore. Each update's brought Stitcher Jim and his beloved to a new place recently, leaving bits of lore for the more observant players to find. Before then, there was the activity on the uncharted island, and before that, the spreading talk of the GMU. Then, we have the other bits of lore involving Duke and the mercenary voyages, alongside bigger things such as the Fort of the Damned. Time limited commendations are time limited for a reason, however: they keep players busy. People have been complaining that there is nothing left to complete in the game, and the voyages are repetitive. Sure, they've not been focusing on the adventure like they should, but they still represent a lot of the playerbase and are being answered, with these time-limited voyages. Don't ruin it for them, you can still drop in, do some, and forget about the rest if you want to.

I’m not saying stop the new content. I’m saying slow things down a bit so Rare can perfect the new content.

Remember, when you rush that when accidents happen.
