Skull fort keys

  • Just not sure why rare never decided to put a glint on the fort keys and give it normal float properties like all the other loot in the game, without a shine it makes it usually nearly impossible to find if someone sinks with it in the ocean.

  • I believe it has something to do with hiding the key. But he, it took the developers more than a year to give the key its own Pirate Chat, maybe it'll take em even longer to put a glint on the key.

  • @lt-swag-johnson it they want to prolly not though

  • @fast-bike94 because it's part of the fun trying to find them

  • I agree, it should have the same properties in the water.

Things do not glint or shine on land, unless they spawned there, so hiding the key would still be an option and nobody "hides" a key in the middle of the sea.

  • @archangel-timmy I have had a couple forts where because we destroyed the people at the fort their mentality is if we can't have it you cant and end up swimming the key into the ocean until the die to sharks, have founo the key a couple times even when they did that.

  • @fast-bike94 I suppose they are either trying to "hide" it long enough for it to despawn, or reach an outer island/rock to hide it on. Either case, you have a valid point!

In the end, making it glint like every other item in the water is an important addition.
