Fishing!!!

    I love this game, and am having a blast playing it with my friends.
    Still, I'm "on the water" in it and wishing I was fishing...

    Maybe the merchants could buy fish as well?

    From my viewpoint, the fishing looks good but we can't drop a line in the water.

    @vasduten even at the shores catch bait fish with some sort of net. Keep em in a barrel,sell em . Possibilities are endless lol

    I’m certain Joe Neate said in a recent interview, that they are going to introduce fishing in one of the future updates.

    instead of a scaffold it is possible to establish on the ship at will a harpoon,and instead of a Megalodon for example to add fish-a sword or other creatures, to sit quietly with a rod other players will not allow you

    @vasduten I hope it will be added at some point.

    But keep in mind, in SoT it's all about risk vs. reward, so expect a challenge while fishing.

    They said they're working on it and probably (not 100%) will come in forsaken shores update in september

    I will never not comment on fishing. I want it so bad! Now how they implement it, I don't know. But I want it!

    @vasduten In one of the group interviews during E3 it was "hinted" that there will be a high chance of fishing being introduced into the game for the Forsaken Shores expansion.

    Nice! I'm satisfied with rumors of adding a fishing part to the game...

    The game is fun enough as is... but yeah. Fishing!~!!

    True, e3 it was mentioned fishing was coming; but I think it may be a bit off as they work it out. Have to remember they still have to introduce the fish, probably harpoon, and sell/use ability while maintaining server stability. Definitely a cool idea I cant wait to see.

    What do you expect the catchable fish to be? I expect maybe tuna, swordfish, or some other large fish that can be stored/consumed for HP.
