It's a pirate game. The Naval side of things and cannon battles are fantastic, but the sword combat has no depth at all. A directional combat/defense system like that used in For Honor or Mount and Blade using Parries and counters would be amazing and add skill to sword combat.

Not sure where it is, but reducing the costs of cosmetic items when more are added would greatly incentivize acquiring them.
