I'm level 20 in the gold voyages and I can not progress in some voyages because the lantern doesn't work for gbw hints

@domingolife2 Maybe with the higher levels quests you need to be more precise where you shine your lantern?
I had trouble with these. A couple things: To raise the lantern, you RIGHT click. I spent 5 minutes moving my mouse up and down on the mousepad before realising this. If you walk about with the lantern raised, it won't work. You have to unequip and re-equip sometimes. Also, make sure you stand in the EXACT place.
I am stuck on a riddle quest as well involving a lantern raise on a "narrow stone pathway" at the top of the island on Thieves Haven. Says to raise the lantern at it. I have used the raise function mentioned all over that island lol, everywhere that looked like a narrow or even not so narrow stone pathway. There is a narrow stone stairway at the top of the island...seems like it should be the right place but no dice. Sort of frustrating. Apparently there are multiple riddle options per island, because I've found another Thieves Haven riddle online that had the same first step as mine, but not the requirement for the narrow stone pathway.
I do like a challenge, but it does make me wonder if it's bugged.@darkmuncan i had that riddle yesterday and was able to complete it. The narrow path was low on the ground level, not up high. I can't remember what part of the island though.
@guardian-kaiser hmm, guess it was a little too riddly of a riddle for me to gather that, seemed to imply it was at the top of the island, but maybe it was simply leading to the top of the island. Thanks for the reply.
