I was playing on a brigentine with my crew who mostly likes to mess around (i know, right?) but they wanted to storm fish. Why not? I need some hunters calls levels. As i'm catching an Indigo Splashtail my friend starts panicking "SLOOP SLOOP SLOOP RIGHT AHEAD OF US" And they were LEGIT right ahead of us. I shot myself upwards with a cannon, and found out they had an alliance flag up. I also land a convenient deck shot. While i'm on their boat, my crew joins the alliance. We were calling and they told me to anchor them. This player was in a trance on the wheel. The anchor snapped them out of it. I kill him. And my crew opens fire. As they are about to sink. He says on the voice chat "rude killed a kid who's abt to have brain surgery"
I'm sorry, HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT?
Of course I still felt slightly bad but i mean, Pirate Game. Then we got off for the day as we were playing for a few hours.
