feedback regarding time limited cosmetics during holidays

    Ahoy!

    I want to leave some feedback regarding the time limited cosmetics,
    that can only be unlocked by playing during holiday/seasonal events.

    for context:
    I am a day 1 player and still enjoy this game very much. ;)
    Most days I play at least 90 minutes and often up to 6 hours (so I am online a lot). =D

    But I still can not unlock a lot of seasonal time limited cosmetics,
    because seasonal events often mean family time and no access to any computer.

    So I am gonna end up missing a lot of time limited cosmetics, even though I play this game a lot.

    suggestion:
    Instead of limiting the seasonal events to just a few days with a login bonus,
    Rare could hand out special seasonal voyages to everyone and let the player
    decide when they want to use it. (maybe within 30 days?)

    And then unlock the time limited stuff after completing the event.

    This would allow people with families to get access to seasonal items,
    even when they are busy with RL-stuff during the main event. ;)

    Yeah. That happens with a lot of games, gamers, players who have real life to deal with. It called being responsible and deciding what is important.
    Nothing really can be done. I’ve missed a few myself but it’s not a thing to ask to change.

    Game vs real life. Decide and tell me, are these digital cosmetics really important?

    Sounds reasonable to me.

    Still have the login bonus but also include it when completing the voyage.

    Example, I'll login but I don't wanna do the voyage (I can give mine away). You can't login and are willing to do the voyage.

    Everyone wins, still leads to activity gain for the game.

    This is a great idea.
    Good for people who are busy and still want to enjoy seasonal content.

    This is the main reason why I made this post. ;-)

    I enjoy this game very much and want to enjoy everything it has to offer.
    Seasonal content is often nice to see and explore and I enjoy it a lot.
    I do want to play it, but short time window makes it impossible.

    When I am busy with real life stuff, it can be frustrating to know,
    that I am missing out on this part of the content,
    just because the event is time limited.

    I also feel like the "login bonus"-mechanic does not feel special
    and that I much rather have a real voyage with a reward at the end.

    Getting something for free by just login into the game at the right moment
    feels like a cheap way of unlocking something. =D

    I want to complete a seasonal/special voyage and "earn" my reward
    by completing a task - even better if it is a themed voyage. =)
