I was playing sea of thieves, but all of a sudden, the ferry of the damned stopped taking me to my boat and took me to a mysterious cave with no exit, and traps everywhere, has this happened to anyone else? can anyone explain it? here's some clips I took of the place:(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGvl_Z5eY0s)
Glitch? Easter Egg? or something more?
@trendyrain51 think you're telling porkies but didn't watch all of video. You're merely restarting where you hit the checkpoint during the tale ( or someone in your crew).
If I'm wrong I'm wrong but . . .
@rusty-xbone I wasn't doing a tall tale, I've never seen this place before, there is actually a mermaid statue that allows me to return to my ship, which is weird because that implies that there isn't an exit, after I used it, I stopped spawning there.
@trendyrain51 there has been a glitch that people were actually being spawned into the Shores of Golds final area even though they weren't doing that tale at the time. Not sure if there is a way to get around it other than finding a new server because that is one of the few areas in the game that actually have checkpoints so if you die while you're there it will just respawn you at the checkpoint. Hasn't happened to me so not a hundred percent sure if there is a way around it or not but that is most likely what happened to you.
@trendyrain51 Its a glitch. I thought they've addressed that already but appearently not. I wont spoil for you the Tall Tales but as you progress through it, you will eventually reach this place you are spawning.
