Windows 10 version not actually full screen

  • Since the original alpha I've been having a problem with clicking off screen when selecting items in the inventory (Windows 10 PC). Trying to eat a banana caused the mouse to go to the top of the screen, which makes the mouse click on the top window and not the game. Then you have to enter the inventory again and move the mouse slightly away from the Window 10 border, or click escape and move the mouse away. Trying to select certain items can bring up the Windows 10 task bar if the mouse cursor moves a little to far. You can even accidentally exit the game if you select items in your inventory in the top right by accidentally clicking the Windows exit button. Why is windows still active in the background and activated in game by moving the mouse to the edges of the screen? The game is not actually in full screen mode. I can even select icons off screen on another monitor while selecting items in the inventory. They should make the game actually full screen on Windows 10. If I'm in a intense battle with quick movements, I always click off screen half a dozen times easily. I've never played a game where moving your mouse to the edge of the screen causes you to click outside the game onto Windows. Can you add a real full screen option where Windows 10 can't be clicked while playing the game?

  • @nonsmalljohn I have less problems because I use a controller most of the time, but yes, it should be in full screen.
Many times I have to fight with the cursor that is visible in the middle of the screen 😡.

  • I think this is the default behaviour for full screen UWP apps.

  • There are posts going back to DEC 2017....When are you going to fix this trash? This is the only game I've ever had a problem with that won't go into a legit full screen. Using the radial menus is impossible because you end up with a stuck game while you surf the taskbar or menu bar. Get this addressed already...It's literally been YEARS. Figure it out already. In the process, make it so that you must finish the swap weapon animation before you can fire your second shot. I admit I've adopted the doublegun exploit like everybody else, but it isn't fair to be able to fire a gun before it even shows up on your screen.
