Skellies with Guns Issue

  • The number of skeletons spawning with guns is crazy, Especially for a Sloop Crew. It's hard enough to handle a group of skellies spawning with all guns, and on top of that, their aim are really top notch for Enemy AIs.

    Possible issues:
•tedious missions with all Skellies spawning with guns and having almost to perfect aim allowing a mission to go up to about 45 minutes to complete, then the reward payout is very unsatisfying.
•multiple deaths upon gunning skellies allowing other pirates to interrupt our mission and taking our hard earned rewards away from us.
•solo crew sloop will have up to more than 40 min completing a mission against skellies spawning with all guns.
•basically: very tedious and hard to deal with

    Thanks for your time reader!

  • I am typically a solo sloop captain and Iv'e too
the difference is I got better because of the challenge my suggestion is taking the order of soles missions to get better

  • Good Luck

  • Playing solo is basically playing it on hard mode. If you're trying to do high-level OoS solo can you kind of get what you got coming. It's not impossible but it definitely isn't easy. Shade wave with Blunderbuss at night... Yeah that's 35+ OoS for you. Even with 2 people its rough. Yeah they lock on your head and don't seem to miss, even while you're underwater... but it needs to stay challenging hands down. I don't want do missions and just mow right through everyone like the ambient skeletons on the islands. They shouldn't even have nerfed the skeletons on the cannons. The Back-up they gave you while at a skull fort was perfect. Making this game easier is going to kill it. Rare needs to sack up and not give in to the petty wants, and focus more on what it really needs. Which really to me right now isn't a whole lot because I know they have a game plan. Patience young grasshopper.

  • Come on those pistols are just short eye of reaches.

  • All I do is play solo and OOS missions. I find it easy by attacking one who has a firearm and getting it between me and the others with guns. Most of the time that one skeleton I am focused on blocks the shots.

  • Possible solutions: Play with a four man crew, which the voyages are designed for. Do lower level voyages. Suck it up and improve your game.

On that note it could be an idea to let players buy voyages below their standing with the factions.

  • @the-all-c-n-i let's just hope they come up with upping the reward payout for facing hordes of Skellies with guns and all then. It's very maddening when the payout is worthless after all the work.

  • @e11evenbsouth I've been experimenting that lately. It is quite a helpful.

  • @rk1-turbulence to be honest, I hate the Galleon :') the ship's tedious work to move it around is annoying. especially with random players and friends who don'tisten. I stick to solo or 2 man crew.
