It seems to me this game could really use a pirate registry. A online resource where everyone's pirate is accessible for anyone to look at, showing the avatar, how much gold, their equipment, their ship(s), etc. Also the ability for everyone to create their own biography of their online pirate persona. This could then be utilized in-game to identify what pirate/pirate ship you're looking at through your spyglass (left click to look, right click to actually identify). It would give you their pirate name (really wish I could have a pirate name rather than my Xbox username) and that of their ship (if they ever let us name our ships) and all their stats.
