  • @tswishwill17 but it is 3D! :D alt text

  • @triheadedmonkey that's amazing! So excited for this game and all the cool things they can do with it!

  • @tswishwill17 this isn't in game, this is something I made based on art by @Zeldronix-II (the game IS awesome though by the way! :D ) fingers crossed you will be invited to sail soon!

  • @triheadedmonkey haha yeah I know it's not on game it's just pretty cool people can do that because I sure as heck can't! And honestly I have never been more pumped for a game!

  • @tswishwill17 download Blender (blender.org) and look on youtube for the likes of BlenderGuru, tutor4u, CGmasters and you will be good to go in no time! cost is nothing but time and patience! (seriously...Blender is free and there are a lot of free tutorials!)

  • @triheadedmonkey Amazing!

  • Good sketches. Some very good ideas. Thanks for sharing

One down, 15 to go. j/k Excellent job on that, sir.

  • @lucid-stew haha! it's the first thing I have actually made solo (aside from the helpful drawings) and without the help of following tutorials! I love SoT and I love using Blender so this was actually a pleasure to make and what better place to share my first solo work! although the likes of this (https://www.seaofthieves.com/forum/topic/16160/sot-inspired-artwork-to-kill-some-time-until-the-game-s-release) make me realise I have a looooooooong way to go!

  • @triheadedmonkey
the "beauty" of learning a new thing is that you're constantly confronted with the mountain that you don't know yet. :) But isn't it cool to look at what you've made and realize you could have never done that x number of months ago?

  • @lucid-stew oh very much so! A few tutorials I have done and suddenly thought 'AHHHHHHHH....yeah makes sense'. still discovering things I didn't realise were possible (and relatively simple.... once you know how!)
