@adelewalnut How about a "Voice to text" as a toggleable option, so those without voice chat turned on could see what you're saying That would also help with the Xbox Chat issues.
@adelewalnut your request is discriminatory, A lot of player don’t use mic because healt Reasons ,That’s include mental health and speaking problems, also you are playing with a lot of people around the world that not aren’t native English speakers so they skipped the mic. Every pirate need the opportunity to play. Don’t ask that.

Sometimes if at all. Nobody uses the ingame features to chat or even use text. Personally I don’t like reading players “misspelled” words and trying to figure out what they said.
That and talking over mic is far quicker. No need to stop, T and type. You just speak while you move.
@aithemed "no mics" can always play with other "no mics" or crews happy to have "no mics" also it's no more discriminatory then adding "Xbox only" servers. 🤷♂️

Open crew is a world of it's own, most people who use open crew are brand new to the game. If you want to find people to play with who have experience or at least have a microphone, I would recommend using the Sea of Thieves official discord. It has 160,000+ players and there are constantly people looking to join crews, and looking for people to join their crew.
I used to solo everything because open crew wasn't very good, then I found the SOT discord and was constantly finding people to play with.

@aithemed I’m not saying that not everyone can get an opportunity to play I’m saying why can’t like minded people who want to play with microphones play with others that have microphones? If you don’t want to play with a microphone you don’t have to. It’s got nothing to do with health
