I could not find a suitable place for this post, so if its at the wrong place i'm sorry.
I bought the game on PC digital at launch, and i've been playing with my son a bit through account sharing on Xbox (I play on PC).
Now we only get the Avocadobeard (Requires Xbox Live) error even if we log in with my account or his account. I thought this was gonna be possible, did something change there?
If not, please point me in the right direction so i can go sailing with him again :)
I don't think I've ever suffered from an error in this game yet.
I played last night for a few hours and now I go to log in and I'm getting Avacadobeards.
I'm on Xbox and I did a hard reset and it still hasn't fixed.
Anyone know if there's something going on rn?
Struggling to get my head around why this is happening, and have already submitted a report ticket that appears to have disappeared. Getting slightly frustrated but I'll stay patient.

I'm on Xbox, have already a subscription. My privacy setting are open and it still having this issue.
So I cant enter into a game because of some unkown reasons to my account. I got the game through the Xbox gold pass trial to see if I liked it before I bought it. when it gets to the
"press any key" screen, it then gives me an AvocadoBeard error saying that I need to check my account settings. I am on windows 10, the latest version.
when I launch the game, I'm told I "can't play online because of how my account is set up. go to your privacy and online settings on Xbox.com to change this." but I changed all the privacy and online settings to "allow" and the game still gives me this error, any ideas on how to fix the problem?
I bought Sea of Thieves on Steam to play on my PC 2 years ago, but I no longer have a PC and I want to play on my Xbox console. On the xbox console, I have the game pass core, but I can't access the game because of the avacadobeard error. Even if I lose my game savings, how do I play on the Xbox console using my game pass core?
After a long time without playing the game, I installed it and when I wanted to enter to play I got this error that I had never seen before. I did some research and followed the tutorials, however, I had everything done and it still wouldn't let me enter the game. My privacy settings are open and I still have this problem.
I have contacted support who gave me several options. I did each of them and none of them solved the problem. I have been wanting to play for 2 days, this is too overwhelming.
I was able to verify that it is not my account, I was able to log in to the game from my brother's computer so the problem here is something on my computer and I can't figure out the problem and fix it.
If anyone has had this error and/or knows how to fix it please help me out.

So My friend just now bought and installed the game hoping to play together and introduce him to the game but then (Avacadobeard) showed up I was confused but I know some sea of thieves errors and to my knowledge its a xbox live problem but I don't really know to be exact, where both on PC playing with the Microsoft store version.
