Merchant glitch patched?

@steelroots55 there are very specific conditions to get it to work with order of outposts and half the time it doesn't work so you have keep doing it and get lucky.

How sure are you of that? Only other time I've had it was by accident. If it was that temperamental I don't think it could have been found.

i've replicated it twice. I've also failed to get the "perfect" cheese twice even after doing the same thing as both times prior.

@jdetrimental you may be right, but in my experience sometimes the game just tells you to eat dirt.

@personalc0ffee it just depends on the person. It's all a matter of opinion until Rare states there position on it.

Some view it as a cheat
Some view it as a cheese

Me personally i just see it as a cheese strat and i don't think anything is wrong with doing it.

Ok so i was just told about this today. I can't personally confirm it as it didn't happen to me. BUT if you pick up a message in the bottle and it is a merchant one, you are screwed completely. It will reset your locking progress and u have to start over.

So true. Same with the OoS cheese. But after the initial 2-3 hours if u pull a 32 hour grind fest u can go from 1-50 OoS easily.

This is not a glitch, this is one way of efficiently completing the Merchants Voyages. Most of you will know that the Merchants Voyages are a grind. More-so than the other 3 factions.

I think that after grinding for ao long it is nice that you can assume where the next outpost will be and prepare stock on your ship to help complete an handful of Voyages quickly and efficienly.

Im fully aware that there are ways about pushing past the limits set in the game by the developers and these should be left alone in my opinion as they are found by those who have sat with their teams and discussed how to better their voyages.

However on that point it will only take for one of two Content creators to push it out as a Glitch for it to be patched further than the 3 Voyages every half hour. To figure anway to bypass this isnt wrong, its Pirate.

@steelroots55 I can confirm it still works, I just did it today (4 levels, $120,000k) I’ve also done it plenty of other times with no issues.

Keep in mind that the following will screw up the cheese:

Picking up a message in a bottle.

The server migrating.

The key is to hit 5 outposts and leave galleons grave for last (as it’s right beside mauraders arch) one of the best places to farm chickens and snakes.

This cheese normally takes 2-4 hours in my experience.

Love how the [Mod edited] with no skills go ask for glitches on a official form, and the even [Mod edited] people explain how to do it in detail.

Yeah... why play a game like it was meant to be played, if you can glitch your way to 50 and then [Mod edited]

People like this should be permanently banned. And eventhough it is not a glitch (as some call it game mechanics) your still a [Mod Edited] in my eyes cause almsot every player who is level 50/50/50 has a attitude from here to Tokio and back unfortunately.
