I'm sorry, I didn't know you knew my life. I take care of my terminally ill mother, all of my money goes to bills and making sure I have a roof over my head. Living paycheck-to-paycheck, sometimes don't have enough money for groceries. I don't have hundreds to spare on entertainment. SoT was a birthday gift to myself, as I have to be extra careful with my money. Not everyone lives middle-class lifestyles, I really hate to be the one to break it to you that poverty exists. Just because you're struggling at the game, doesn't mean you have to blame PC players for those struggles. We're on an equal playing field, most of the community cannot tell the difference between PC/Xbox players.

3/10 too obvious, although I'm sure most will fall for it.

Everyone keeps trying to defend the advantage that pc users keep saying they don't have. You have a distinct advantage plain and simple and here are a few reasons why.

1. precision device....a mouse is a precision instrument that works on all axis's simultaneously. as for the thumbstick, not so much...its clunky and moving just a fraction of a distance, or a medium distance, is tedious at best. definitely playable and enjoyable though it will never match a mouse's precision...never

2. keyboards and or one handed gaming keyboard, with macro functions....no matter how much you can switch the assignment buttons on a controller it will never match the speed, customization, nor macro's you can assign to your keyboard on a computer. The only way a controller shines above a keyboard for movement is in the sensitivity department. there is no sensitivity on a keyboard its either a pressed button or not. So yes its hard to walk very slow on a keyboard, but hey in combat I love to walk very slow!

3. order of operations...meaning input a user can do in succession.
   here is an example: fire a weapon, select banana, eat banana, select weapon, select banana, eat banana

   1. controller....squeeze trigger, hold left bumper, press up, let go of left bumper, squeeze trigger, hit y, squeeze trigger, hold left bumper, press up, let go of left bumper, squeeze trigger, hit y
      2)keyboard and mouse.....hit left mouse bumper, hit a single key macro
      even with out macro's the simple act of having to select a banana mid combat is tedious compared to a keyboards functions

I do not need to go on....these three thing alone combine to give the pc user a very distinct advantage. I could explain how about dpi, unlimited machine power, cheats, etc....but I don't need to these few thing can and do give each pc user extreme advantages in combat! Every pc player I met in the game before I quit told me that he felt it was unfair. They told me it was just way too easy and boring. Our running joke while playing was send the secret weapon! (pc user), cause they could demolish full crews of xbox players with out sweating.

Besides I'm a PC player and I know I've been wiped out multiple times by xbox players.

yeah cause playing my xbox at a desk is my favorite thing to do, besides requiring every xbox user to go out and buy a keyboard and mouse after the release of a game to be slightly competitive is really bad idea. The solution is a disable crossplay function.

@ootngoo Agreed, and in general, I don't exactly consider this a cross play problem, since both xbox and pc players lose with cheaters, but yes, I agree that xbox players would not have to face off against cheaters, since it's way harder to cheat on a console, but doesn't change the fact that it affects the "non-cheating" pc players (wich are the majority of the players) badly anyway, so Rare needs to reinforce the anti-cheating policy.

that to me is not reasonable, the cost of the game is already too high for what is provided. Then adding more peripherals that I must purchase on top of that is a terrible idea. Then changing my relaxed sit anywhere I want in my game chamber just to compensate for the games lack of balance in crossplay is obsurd! Not too mention, your asking say 300k people to adapt instead of one company to adapt to them! Who thinks that is reasonable?

Seriously, then your also asking every other company afterwards to provide keyboard and mouse interfaces to their console games! Or anyone who quits playing has another set of ornaments to look at when they stop playing sot! One company doesn't have the forsight, like many other before them, to include a simple opt out option for crossplay,! This my friend is the problem, and this problem is simple to solve!
