As someone who games on PC (primary) ps4, xboxone and a wiiu, i've never come across such an unwarranted whiny group as the xbox posters on this forum (sorry, not all of you of course) that in itself is a massive achievement given the trash that's all over the net. This plays fine on xbox, this plays fine on PC with a controller, the only real disadvantage is the usual controller vs kb+m. You don't see fortnite players crying like you lot, and that actually requires quick reactions over long/medium/close distance and at every height.
If you get boarded, it's because you did something wrong - accept it and improve.
If you get killed, it's because 99% of the time you got outplayed and made poor choices, if someone is jumping about like an idiot and you can't deal with that, again you need to look closer to home and improve.
As it's been said a million times, this game is far from perfect - it needs content/proper roadmap and more meaningful systems within the world, but crossplay and the way the world is within the game is exactly as described, and this is a good thing.
If you take no enjoyment from this game then quit, it's really that simple.

A) Consoles have hackers too. There is aimbot and walls on xbox. I know because my little sister, yes little sister, figured out how to get hacks on the xbox 1 for CoD.
B) The whole "Keyboard and Mouse is OP" Well yeah, thats one of the downsides of using a console. If thats such a big problem for you get a PC. Yes, keyboard and mice have bindable buttons, My mouse has 12 buttons. But thats not cheating, plus what are you gunna bind them to? Switching weapons?
The PC market for gaming is actually larger than XBOX, so if they were going to abandon a platform and choose another, xbox would be the one abandoned.
Your sister found hacks on CoD... Call of Duty always had hacks lol there were 14 year old kids with jtags back on MW2 days hacking the game easily...

wth is this guy for real? i mean jesus, i think cross-platforms are a great and unique thing to SOT. And as many other user's replied, get a PC or simply plug a mouse and leyboard to your xbox.
Crossplay isn't unique to SoT though... Games that came out in 2016 on xbox one already had crossplay. Also, xbox players shouldn't have to buy a brand new PC or plug in a mouse and keyboard to have the same sensitivity. Chances are, they are already adjusted to a controller, and changes back and forth for each game would be tedious.
